Charter South has a strict safety policy in place and has received many
commendations and awards for excellence in safety. Our
Experience Modification Rating as compiled by the National
Council on Compensation Insurance and reported on January 1,
2001 is .77. This is superior for a company our size and with
our number of employees. We are a Drug Free work place and have
a zero tolerance drug policy in place. All levels of testing are
completed; our random drug testing is managed by an outside
source that assists us in quality control in this area. Our
superintendents and managers conduct weekly toolbox safety
meetings on site, we have company wide quarterly safety meetings
as well as smaller focus group meetings as needed. All safety
record keeping is closely monitored and we continue to impress
our insurance companies with our safety procedures and policies.Full Service Company We have developed in house capabilities in many areas of our company. Unlike other contractors who rely on outside contacts to assist in estimating, plan development, site assessments, plumbing installations, electrical projects, and post project service and maintenance we have these capabilities with our in house team.
