Charter South was established in 1985. The corporate office is located in Birmingham, Alabama with a satellite office in Conyers, Georgia and Baton Rouge, La. Our growth over the years is due in part to a solid, loyal customer base. Experienced Personnel

Charter South employs project managers and superintendents with years of experience. This experience gives us a winning edge so we can keep projects flowing smoothly no matter what obstacles are encountered. Our staff is trained in Total Quality Management (TQM). Computerized tools assist in tracking and monitoring a projects progress. We know the standard that must be maintained to stay ahead of our competitors and keep our valued customers.

Leader In Safety

Charter South has a strict safety policy in place and has received many commendations and awards for excellence in safety. Our Experience Modification Rating, as compiled by the National Council on Compensation Insurance, is one of the lowest in the construction industry. This is superior for a company our size and number of employees.  We are a Drug Free work place with a zero tolerance drug policy. All levels of testing are completed. Random drug testing is managed by an outside source assisting us with quality control in this area. Our superintendents and managers conduct on-site weekly safety meetings. We have company wide safety meetings as well as smaller focus group meetings when necessitated. Safety record keeping is closely monitored. We continue to impress our insurance companies with our safety procedures and policies.
